Call for Speakers

Are you interested in being on the WPW stage to share your strategies for success with a group of INCREDIBLE women physicians and professionals?

We are accepting proposals to speak at each of our 2027 WPW events now until May 15th!

How to submit a proposal:

Drop us an email at wpwconf@gmail.com and include:

  1. Your name, title, whether you are currently practicing clinical medicine, your CV with any speaking, coaching, side gig experiences listed, your headshot.

  2. A 5-10 minute video example of you teaching (this can be done on your laptop through zoom or imovie; there doesn’t have to be an audience but we need to see how you would present the info you want to teach; no podcasts please).

  3. The title of your talk and 4-5 specific and detailed strategies you’d cover in your talk. Please note, you are welcome to submit multiple proposals.

***Proposals that do not have all 3 requirements included will not be considered.

What we are looking for:

Remember, our conferences have 2 focuses: 1)-leadership and career development and 2)-overcoming personal challenges like burnout, overwhelm, pivoting, and resilience.

For WPW Climb we are looking for a focus on leadership and career development. This includes topics like:

The Foundations of Effective Leadership

Leadership Styles

Building Confidence as a Leader

Self-Advocacy

Effective communication to lead and inspire others

Navigating Conflicts

The Art of Persuasion

Motivating Teams Toward a Common Goal

Creating a Team Culture

How to Create a Lasting Impact as a Leader

Our other 3 WPW events are open to a variety of submissions based on your area of expertise.

Selected speakers will be assigned to a WPW conference based on their topic. No requests for one WPW over another please.

What to Avoid:

WPW focuses on specific strategies to overcome challenges that women physicians and women professionals face. Each session should have actionable strategies the attendees can immediately apply to their professional and personal lives. To that end, try to avoid generalized topics like “Overcoming Burnout” or “My Journey to Wellness.”

Alternately, we do not have breakout sessions so each session must be applicable to a variety of women from different specialties and backgrounds.

Can’t wait to see what you create!
